This turquoise green rectangular cushion cover, created using a natural indigo dye, has been printed in full respect of Indian traditions. The block print or wood stamp printing is a typical skill of Rajasthan in Western India. It involves manually printing the fabric using hand-carved wooden stamps, giving the fabric a unique character through its feel and irregularities.

This piece will brighten up your interior with its hand-printed terracotta, mustard yellow, and midnight blue pattern. Adopt this bohemian cushion; it will be a real plus for your living room or bedroom!

The brand

Jamini, in Hindi, signifies the purple hue of lotus flower petals that stretch endlessly across the wetlands of Assam. This is the region in the easternmost part of India, bordering Bhutan and Bangladesh, where Usha Bora, the creator of the brand, grew up.

In this vast continent, while color is ever-present, it is never just aesthetic. It marks each moment, each event, and leads to new horizons of life and beauty.

Following the same philosophy, Jamini also asserts its ambition: to bring together a community of committed customers sharing the same values of preserving an Indian heritage as legendary as it is decidedly contemporary, thereby becoming an international brand of reference, distinguished by its chic and bold style.

Block printing or Dabu, the technique of hand printing using carved wooden blocks, originates from Rajasthan and is now widespread across India. Jamini employs this process for some of its patterns, without wanting to overuse it, as there are many other crafts to explore. Part of Jamini's mission is to play the role of an explorer in search of the rarest craftsmanship.
