Block printing or Dabu, the technique of hand printing using carved wooden blocks, originates from Rajasthan and is now widespread across India. Jamini employs this process for some of its patterns, without wanting to overuse it, as there are many other crafts to explore. Part of Jamini's mission is to play the role of an explorer in search of the rarest craftsmanship.
