Founded out of a love for Indian craft, the brand works with small family-run businesses in India, particularly in Rajasthan, where its creations are made using techniques passed down through generations.

Paper Mirchi notably uses paper made from 100% recycled, tree-free cotton fibers and honors traditional processes such as block printing and hand marbling. For its printed creations, carved wooden blocks are used to apply the different colors one by one, with precision.

The brand favors handcrafted, small-batch production, giving each piece its unique character. Its world thus blends colorful patterns, natural materials, and ancestral techniques to create elegant, durable, and personality-filled stationery.
