Pale Pendant Light, The Precious - Raffia/ Plant Weave
Georges Store becomes Centième, the eponymous brand of designer Mylène Niedzialkowski. With this new name, she signals a return to essentials: pieces handcrafted in small series, respecting artisanal savoir-faire and thoughtful consumption.
Georges' iconic light fixture in its precious version. The "jewel" combination of brass and fabric in a floral and airy pendant lamp.
With the clean lines of a teardrop-shaped petal, Pale adds a tribute to retro ceiling fans in louvered bedrooms. This pendant subtly plays with light, diffusing a soft glow into the room and delicate shadow play on the ceiling. Its brass arches give it a full diameter (they do not fall into a corolla) and can be tiered, if desired, for a more contemporary version.
The precious Pale pendant is manufactured at the Château de Méritein, Georges Store's factory in Bearn. Each petal is entirely handmade from a brass arch over which a cotton butter muslin is stretched, hand-painted with a mixture of natural pigments. All elements of the precious Pale pendant are sourced in France.
