Georges Store becomes Centième, the eponymous brand of designer Mylène Niedzialkowski. With this new name, she signals a return to the essentials: handcrafted pieces, produced in small series, respecting artisanal know-how and responsible consumption.
Georges' iconic light fixture in its precious version. The "jewel-like" combination of brass and fabric in a floral and airy pendant light.
With its clean, teardrop-shaped petal design, Pale pays homage to the retro ceiling fans of shuttered bedrooms. This pendant light subtly plays with light, diffusing a soft glow throughout the room and creating delicate plays of shadow on the ceiling. Its brass hoops give it a solid diameter (they don't cascade down in a corolla shape) and can be staggered, if desired, for a more contemporary look.
The Pale Precious pendant light is crafted at the Château de Méritein, the Béarn-based workshop of Georges Store. Each petal is entirely handmade, starting with a brass hoop over which a hand-painted cotton canvas is stretched, using a blend of natural pigments. All components of the Pale Precious pendant light are sourced in France.
