Jamini is a love story between Paris and India, Usha Bora’s country of origin and the brand’s founder. A native of the Assam province, where the purple color of the lotus flower is called "jamini", Usha Bora created Jamini to share the artisanal know-how and beauty of traditional weaves.

Jamini uses cotton, wool, or silk fabrics, hand-woven or hand-printed by artisans from different regions of India. The colors and patterns transport us to the other side of the world.
