At the beginning of May, we spent a week in Ibiza, far from the sulphurous side that sticks to his skin. And nice surprise, we discovered a rather bohemian side of the island with plenty of quiet spots to stroll and small coves to swim.

I share our addresses with you:

  • Put down your suitcases - Boutique hotel La bohemia del Rio : a bohemian-chic decor, attentive service and a swimming pool to cool off. The little extra: breakfast served on the terrace by the pool :)
  • Sunbathing - Cala Salada / Cala Comte / Cala Nova : beaches with turquoise waters where you can take a dip. A little Caribbean air!
  • Have a drink - Atzaro Beach : a beach bar with a nice menu and very friendly service
  • Chill with the kids - Atelier 74 : a café/workshop with a large terrace for a drink or lunch. Bohemian atmosphere and kids friendly
  • Dinner with a view - Restaurant Amante : an experience to do if you want to dine with your feet (almost) in the water. A little bling bling atmosphere anyway, but hey, we are in Ibiza after all!

And if you can, take the ferry to Formentera to spend at least one night there. On the program: crystal clear water and a quieter atmosphere.

The addresses we retain:

  • Swimming - Calo d'Es mort : a little corner of paradise for those who love small coves and turquoise water
  • Eat a paella - Restaurant Can Forn : an address that does not look like much but where we ate one of our best paellas
  • Have a drink - Casa Pacha : a good glass of wine with a view of the beach. A real joy ! And a nice service and a nice decoration as a bonus

You will need a car or a scooter to stroll around the island and discover the little hidden corners. And the thing not to miss at aperitif time: glass of wine, bread and aioli sauce with a view of the sea :)
